Situated on a hillside overlooking the Pacific, Casa Al Borde is a project about expanding and occupying contours. Earth flows down and through the house, in some areas creating seclusion and intimacy, while others afford a precipice to view the expanse. Exterior and interior spaces overlap, with lines of landscape running through both. A close relationship between primary spaces and the atmosphere of site are central to living in this location.
